Public to help ponder pot problem: city announces meetings in May
The CIty of Castlegar is seeking public input on how to proceed with the municipal aspect of cannibas legalization.
In a press release issued Monday morning, the city announced two public meetings to take place later this month seeking feedback and offering information in discussing next steps within the context of communiity regulation. There is also an online survey to go live May 23 in which residents can provide their thoughts (see below for link).

The City of Castlegar would like your input on the development of municipal cannabis regulations, such as:
What areas can the City regulate?
The number and most suitable locations for retail cannabis stores;
Where consumption can and cannot take pace;
Where it can be grown.
