BC Coroners Service identifies motor vehicle incident victim

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died after a motor vehicle incident near Salmo on (Friday) December 19 as Rudolf Seeser, aged 82, of Salmo.
Seeser was the driver and sole occupant of an eastbound van which was in collision with a westbound SUV on Highway 3 about three kilometres west of Salmo at about 8 a.m. on December 19.
Road conditions were noted to be extremely poor at the time.
Seeser was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate this death.
Seeser’s family has been notified of his death.
