Kootenay Savings announced today plans to consolidate their Warfield and Trail branches.

As banking habits of consumers are changing, online and mobile channel usage is rising and the number of in-branch transactions are declining, it has become increasingly difficult to justify two branches in close proximity of one another in the Greater Trail area.

The last day of operation for Warfield branch is scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2015.

At that time, the branch will transition to offering ATM and Night Deposit services only. All Warfield members will receive notication by mail.

The Trail branch located in downtown Trail, operates six days a week, and offers full advisory services including personal and commercial banking, wealth management and legal services. Access to home, auto and travel insurance services is also conveniently located nearby.
