RCMP confirm missing man located

This was the best news for everyone involved.

RCMP Cpl. Brian Hromadnik confirmed Monday evening that 57-year-old Douglas Kaiser of Balfour has been located.

No futher details were released by RCMP.

The Kaslo RCMP thanks the public for assisting in locating Kaiser.

RCMP need public assistance finding missing man Douglas Kaiser

Kaslo RCMP is requesting the public assistance in locating 57-year-old Douglas Kaiser said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk District Advisory NCO of Media Relations for the South East District Monday.

Moskaluk said Kaiser was last seen leaving his Balfour area residence at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, (November 13).with no known destination of travel.

Kaiser described as:

  • Caucasian male 57 yrs old
  • 5’1″
  • 190lbs
  • sandy blonde hair,clean cut.
  • He was wearing black hiking boots,
  • a black half length trench coat and blue jeans.

Moskaluk said Kaiser was traveling in a 2009 grey Ford F150 with British Columbia license plate AY 1746.

“The truck has a 6′ 1/2 length with an aluminum headache rack,” he said. “The F150 decals have been removed and there is a dent in the rear driver side bumper.”

Moskaluk said Kaslo RCMP is asking anyone who has seen  Kaiser or his vehicle to call the Kaslo RCMP at (250) 353-2225 or the nearest police services.
