Obituary: Luke Ferraro, Sept. 5, 1976 to May 31, 2024

June 20th, 2024
Our beloved Luke Micheal Ferraro was born in Prince Rupert, B.C., September 5th, 1976.  Luke was our guiding light, our North Star.  On May 31st, 2024, Luke was taken from us.  We mourn the great loss of him, our anchor and cornerstone.

Luke was a hard working family man of authenticity and unwavering loyalty.  His love for Angela, Noah, Jackson and family knew no bounds.  He was a man of integrity, with many talents, skills and abilities.  Luke was a master on the barbecue,  a Journeyman Carpenter and Cement Mason.  Along with his family, he grew a garden to be proud of.

Luke was a son, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and our best friend.  He was a fierce protector and provider with a fierce heart, always showing up for the people he loved.

Luke lives on in his beloved wife Angela, his precious sons, Noah and Jackson, his loving parents, Jack and Janice, and his sister Marie.  Luke is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and by Angela’s loving family, especially his kind and lovely mother-in-law, Gloria Manning-Smee.

Rest in peace dear Luke.
Your legacy of love and devotion will be honoured in the hearts of those you touched.
You are a testimony to the beauty of a life well-lived.
We will feel your heartbeat in the wind and in the morning songs of the birds.
We will sense your presence when the world is quiet and dark.
We will always see your love and light in the eyes of your sons.

A celebration of life will be held at the Brilliant Cultural Centre  at 1:00pm, July 13th, 2024 followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to the Educational Trust Fund of Noah and Jackson Ferraro.  Donations can be made at the Kootenay Savings Credit Union or through a family member.
