Local girls bring home the gold

U12 soccer girls brought home the gold from Revelstoke. Girls from Castlegar, Beaver Valley, Trail, and Rossland combined their efforts as the U12 Rep Team and were victorious in four games; winning 4-0,6-0,3-0 and 2-1 in the Sept. 12 tournament.
The team extends a special thank-you to all three coaches for their unending dedication and support: Fernando Jorge, coach; Curtis Verigin, assistant coach and Kim Verigin, manager.
