Want to play ultimate frisbee?

A group of players from Nelson is hosting a free and fun skills clinic on (Wednesday) April 20th at 6 p.m. at the Lakeside playing fields for anyone interested in learning, or joining the game.

Participants interested in the game are invited to learn the basics of the game, including proper throwing techniques and strategy.

The skills clinic marks the beginning of the summer season, and we are hoping to recruit new players to join us for games twice a week, as well as to participate in tournaments around B.C.

Nelson has an enthusiastic group of people who regularly meet to play ultimate.

The group has been playing in Nelson for more than 20 years and are continually welcoming new players to play this exciting and fast-paced game.

Ultimate frisbee is played throughout the summer at Lakeside Fields and throughout the winter at the indoor soccer facility.

Ultimate is a co-ed sport, and we have a wide variety of players in Nelson who bring their best game to the field, regardless of age or skill.

Those interested in in the clinic are asked to bring water, clothes and shoes.
