Kootenay writer and teacher, Luanne Armstrong heads courses at Oxygen

 A Kootenay writer and teacher  Luanne Armstrong, who has published in a wide variety of genres, is offering a courses in editing and writing nonfiction at Nelson’s Oxygen Art Centre.

Armstrong, whose most recent title is Slice Me Some Truth: An Anthology of Creative Nonfiction, is conducting the editing course in February 17-19 and writing nonfiction March 2-4.

The editing course in Feburary goes Friday to Sunday, and cover types of editing, setting up an editing business, and other basics.

Armstrong, who has also published novels for adults and children, as well as poetry and journalism, will teach a course in writing nonfiction Friday afternoon and all-day Saturday and Sunday. The foucus of the course is memoir, literary journalism, and autobiography, as well as how to publish nonfiction.

Each course costs $140 plus HST.
